HAA needs your help. We gladly accept many forms of support from our community, from monetary contributions to memberships and volunteering. Please contact our office for more information about in-kind donations, matching gifts, or other ways to contribute.
When you donate to HAA in New York, NY, you help our organization gather and distribute resources to the communities most in need. Our missions protect the health, education, and welfare of countless individuals.
We accept HAA donations by Zelle (info@haany.org), Zeffy, or PayPal. You can also designate HAA as your charity of choice when you shop at smile.amazon.com and Amazon will donate 0.5% of eligible purchases to our organization.
Through the generous support of Haitian American Alliance, 100% of the gross profit received at Support Our Community goes directly to our distribution fund.

Membership
Support our goals by becoming involved! As a member, your opportunities include:
- Participating in various activities
- Gaining access to a clearinghouse of resources, data, and collection of works
- Engaging in relevant discourse/discussions
- Mixers with other professionals through social media, networking, and establishing a forum for exchanging ideas, Haitians and Haitian Americans can impact societal, political, and economic issues.
Charitable Endeavors
We are a 501(c)3 organization. Our participation in the areas of political, social, and economic endeavors is exclusively charitable and educational. Members are all volunteers engaged in the service and education of the Haitian American Community.
Committee Participation
Our members participate on various committees that help implement multiple programs and activities to promote our vision and mission. As a member, you may be nominated or self-nominated but must apply to join one of the committees. Board members, whenever possible, head the committees. A separate review committee consisting of no less than three board members will review all applications and assign each member to a committee for a term of no less than one year.
Volunteers | Interns
Volunteering with HAA will provide a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in your community. You'll also meet new people, have fun, and support a great cause.
All volunteers or interns must be 18 years of age and older and commit at a minimum of 4 hours a week to the organization. You'll also receive a 25% discount to all events sponsored by HAA and gain a free membership as a Junior HAA member.
